Drawn ByDesign is an architectural design practice specialising in residential design.
With work all over New Zealand, Drawn ByDesign has been engaged to design alterations, additions, new homes, tiny homes and furniture.
Drawn ByDesign works tirelessly to ensure that each and every client is provided with professional advice every step of the way.
Drawn ByDesign Ltd is owned and operated by myself, Nina Fletcher, a Licenced Building Practitioner, with experience in well-regarded award winning practices, Architecture Bureau & DLA Architects (Cambridge). I am a member of both NZIA and ADNZ, with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture (Professional) from the University of Auckland.

I currently work from my home in Cambridge, a house designed in early 2018 by myself and built by my husband Shaun Fletcher, director and owner of Heartwood Builders Ltd.
We are the proud parents of Bella (Dog - Japanese Spitz) and Izzy (Giant Flemish Rabbit).
Although I am married to a builder who keeps me on my toes, we generally choose to keep our professional lives separate, to ensure our clients are provided with the best professional services and advice our businesses can offer.
That said, my husband loves to ensure that my skills in detailing and understanding of cost implications are well refined. These skills serve to benefit my clients and the local builders I work with regularly. As his wife, I have taken great pleasure of pointing out how lighting, and good design can morph a ‘house’ into a ‘home’.
